Approach

Design Stage

We will work with the KM sponsor to define the objectives for the KM programme or activity. Current KM capability will be assessed to focus activities where they are needed most. Metrics will be developed to ensure there is a focus on the right results. More detailed programmes of activities can then be developed to achieve the required KM capability in the organisation.

Execution

We are involved in all levels of implementation, from supporting KM project teams in implementing the programme, through to designing and facilitating specific KM events and activities.

Obtaining the right balance of change across process, systems and culture is crucial, and will be a key feature of our support.

During execution, we will ensure that progress is measured, both of the programme and the end result, and communicated to stakeholders.

Follow-up

Regular reviews will ensure that the programme or KM activities are meeting the expectations of sponsors and delivering value to the organisation. KM programmes can be delivered in a flexible, modular way if required, and in these cases the follow up will include options for further development.

Knowledge Management (KM)

KM is all about understanding what knowledge is important to an organisation and helping people learn and share it more effectively.

With over 8 years experience of KM, from developing KM strategy through to facilitating KM events, we can help you to improve your business performance. We support executive teams by defining the drivers for a KM programme, and ensure that activities are focused on delivering maximum returns. Project teams can benefit from our experience of implementing KM, which will help them to quickly identify and apply the most effective tools and techniques. Staff will see focused KM sessions, effectively facilitated to ensure that they can learn and share information that will have a positive impact on the work they do.

The good news is that you can gain benefit from KM at any level, so if you aren’t ready for a major KM programme, why not try some tactical solutions first. We’re confident you will see a difference.
