Government Sponsored Recycling Organisation

Objective

This organisation works with companies to manage waste and create markets for recycled materials and products. They need to engage with companies that produce and/or use waste products. To do this they hold a number of regular Forums and one off specialist conferences with professional facilitators to gain feedback and ideas from the delegates.

Approach

Before each forum or conference we meet with the organisers to understand the objective and the audience. We then produce a process to ensure that the output from the break out sessions meets the objective, as efficiently and effectively as possible. After each break out session we present to the whole audience the feedback from each group. Within two days of the conference a written report is sent to the organisation detailing the feedback and highlighting particular issues or concerns from the delegates.

Results

The feedback has been used to develop effective communication methods relating to recycled material and products. New Protocols have been effectively rolled out and buy-in from companies to improve their waste recycling or reuse have been achieved. The conferences and forums are well attended which enables the organisation to get its message to as many people as possible.

Benefits

Through using facilitated sessions this organisation has been able to immediately gain meaningful and useful feedback from the delegates of other companies and organisations. These delegates feel that their input has been captured and that their time has been used effectively. Perago continue to facilitate for this organisation at their regular forum meetings.
