Objective
The end customer had created a new business unit tasked with improving Asset Planning and Investment. They needed to ensure that the new team were able to perform in their new roles quickly and effectively, to meet aggressive targets for change. This required the development of a training programme to transfer skills to the new team and ensure that they were capable in their new roles.
Approach
Perago worked with the client to develop the overall training approach. The modular training programme contained both presentation based training courses, and more interactive hands on work, requiring coaching and mentoring. We developed a structured process to capture key information for each module, and supported the team in developing appropriate materials.
We also worked to develop an approach to assessment, which would ensure that both mentor and trainee were confident that the training had been effective, and that the required understanding and capability had been established.
Results
A flexible, modular training package was delivered, which enables the client to ensure that the team has the necessary skills and understanding to successfully perform in their new roles.
